Contact
If you contact us via inquiry form, online booking or by e-mail, your data will be stored in order to process the request and in case of follow-up questions.
Data storage
We point out that for the purpose of simplifying the booking process and the subsequent contract processing in the context of cookies, the IP data of the connection owner are stored.
The data provided by you are required to fulfil the contract or to carry out pre-contractual measures. Without this data we can not conclude the contract with you. A transfer of data to third parties does not take place, with the exception of the transmission of the credit card data to the processing bank / payment service provider for the purpose of debiting the booking price, to comply with the Reporting Act (Meldegesetz) and to our tax advisor to fulfil tax obligations.
In the case of a contract, all data from the contractual relationship in accordance with federal tax code (Bundesabgabenordnung) be stored until the expiration of the taxable storage period of seven years. In addition, the accommodation company is obligated under §10 Reporting Act (§10 Meldegesetz) to keep a guest directory whose retention obligation comprises seven years.
The data name, address and travel data are also stored. The data processing takes place on the basis of the legal regulations of § 96 3 TKG as well as of Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit a (Consent) and / or lit b (necessary for fulfilment of the contract) of the GDPR.
We use the following data when you sign a contract with us:
- Base data
First name, family name, full address, all contact information (eg e-mail address, telephone number), information about the nature and content of our contractual relationship. - Other personal data that you or third parties provide us with your consent or otherwise permissible in the initiation of the contract, during the contractual relationship or in order to fulfil legal obligations (Date of birth or age, marital status, gender, profession, identity card details, bank details, subscription or representation authorization, contractual commitment, cancellation / cancellation deadlines) or other information about yourself that you have given us.
Contract processors
The protection of your data is important to us. Even if we use a processor, we make sure that processing takes place within the European Union.
Reporting data
Under the Austrian Reporting Act you are obliged to register with us in accordance with § 5 and § 10 of the Registration Act (§ 5 und § 10 Meldegesetz). This concerns the following data:
Name, date of birth, gender, nationality, country of origin, address and postal code and – for foreign guests – the type, number, date of issue and issuing authority of a travel document and the date of arrival and departure.
We will keep these data in a guest directory based on the legal obligation imposed on us in accordance with Section 19 of the Reporting Law Implementing Ordinance (§ 19 Meldegesetz-Durchführungs-Verordnung) and store it for a period of seven (seven) years, unless otherwise processed for other purposes stated in this privacy policy become.
The guest directory is managed electronically by us, whereby we forward the data to an IT processor (Casablanca Hotelsoftware GmbH). This data is stored locally. A transfer to a third country does not take place.
The data categories “Arrival”, “Departure” linked to the country of origin will be forwarded to the municipality in which our accommodation is located in accordance with § 6 Tourism Statistics Regulation (§ 6 Tourismus-Statistik-Verordnung). The Ötztal Tourismus, to which we belong, and / or the municipality also have aggregated data on the total number of overnight stays and persons obliged to pay the residence tax. This is done on the basis of § 19 Tiroler Aufenthaltsabgabengesetz.
The processing is based on Art. 6 para. 1 lit. c GDPR.
In addition, we forward your postal code and your year of birth (in pseudonymised or anonymised form) to the creation and evaluation of the statistics of origin and age by the tourism association to our municipality and Ötztal Tourismus. This transfer is based on Art. 6 (1) lit e (task in the public interest) and lit f (predominant legitimate interests) GDPR. On the other hand, you can object at any time for reasons that arise from your particular situation (Article 21 (1) GDPR).
Ötztal Premium Card
You have the opportunity to use the Ötztal Premium Card. The Ötztal Premium Card grants you benefits at various companies in the region (eg reduced entry fees). The Ötztal Premium Card is valid after the first night of your stay.
The card will be issued and issued only at your request. It is issued in the form of an electronically generated card.
For the electronically generated card the following personal data, which are determined from the registration data (see above), are processed:
First name, last name, date of birth, country of origin / postal code and time of stay (arrival / departure).
When using the Ötztal Premium Card, the following personal data are also processed: data on the usage cycle of the respective card, use of the services and the accommodation provider.
The data is required to determine the identity of the card on the one hand and the validity period of the card for the respective service provider on the other hand and to enable the settlement of benefits between service providers, the Ötztal Tourismus and the accommodation providers.
Legal basis of processing
The processing of the data for purposes of the Ötztal Premium Card takes place on the basis of your consent (Article 6 (1) (a) GDPR).
A consent can be revoked by you at any time verbally or in writing.
Other processing of your data
Basically, we only process those data which are absolutely necessary for the conclusion of the contract or for the fulfilment of the contract. If you have also given us appropriate consent, we will process your data in such a way that we will send you information about our services until further notice.
